Training on Family Strengthening and Family-Based Care

A two-day training program on Family Strengthening and Family-Based Care was organized and conducted by The Miracle India Foundation. Ms. Merlin George and Ms. Sushmila S from Marialaya participated in the training. The sessions included in-depth discussions and practical exercises on essential child protection components such as the Case Management Process, follow-up mechanisms, reintegration and restoration, psychosocial support, resource mapping, prevention, transition, and intervention strategies.

Participants were also oriented on child safeguarding and child protection, risk assessment, identifying red flags, and understanding risk factors to ensure effective protection of children. The training provided an interactive platform to strengthen knowledge, enhance practical skills, and improve the capacity of participants to implement child safeguarding measures within their organizations and communities.
