Media Mela

Marialaya hosted an engaging and insightful week-long program, Media Mela 2024, from 4th November 2024 to 9th November 2024 with 41 children, focusing on the theme "Artificial Intelligence and the Natural Wisdom." The program, held every evening from 6 pm to 7 pm, aimed to raise awareness among children about the power of media today, the importance of communication, and the need to engage proactively in this evolving landscape.

The week began with a Poster Making competition on the theme "AI for Empowerment," encouraging children to express their understanding of AI’s potential. Day 2 saw a Creative Writing competition, where children wrote a dialogue between AI and a Sage, sparking thoughtful discussions on technology and wisdom. Mrs. Saraswathy, former coordinator of Marialaya, shared valuable advice on the responsible use of social media.

On Day 4, children showcased their creativity through AI Shorts/Reels on "Communication and Communion," followed by guidance from Mrs. Afouziya Banu, a counselor, on essential life skills like confidence, body language, and cooperation.

The grand finale on Day 5, Media Mela, featured Mrs. Keerthi Lakshmi, an Art and Craft teacher, as the chief guest. She appreciated the children’s efforts and distributed prizes to 20 winners, making the event a memorable and inspiring experience for all involved.
