When Rakshita joined Marialaya in 2021, she was a 10th-grade dropout with little interest in continuing formal education. Recognizing her potential and passion, Marialaya encouraged her to pursue vocational training in tailoring and beautician courses. With dedicated support and her own determination, Rakshita transformed her skills into a livelihood. Today, she works as a professional beautician at Sri Vino Parlour, earning a stable income that allows her to support her family with confidence and pride.

Coming from a financially challenged background, E. Nithya found a safe and supportive home at Marialaya, where she stayed for three years. During this time, she pursued and successfully completed her B.Com degree. With resilience and the right guidance, Nithya secured a position as a Service Marketing Report Executive at AIE Cars – Maruti Suzuki. Today, she earns a steady income and is proud to support her family.

Jasmine is physically challenged and was rescued by Childline. In 2021, she fulfilled her long-held desire to become Catholic, marking a significant milestone in her life. All relevant records are meticulously maintained in her file. Today, she contributes to Marialaya as a domestic worker, playing an important role in our daily operations. Her journey is a testament to resilience, faith, and the transformative power of care and support.

Pavithra came to Marialaya from KPC and was initially under the care of a guardian from the same NGO. As her guardians aged, she came fully under our care. With dedication, she completed her degree in English and served as a Warden at Francis Xavier Convent, Broadway, for one year. Currently, she is pursuing her B.Ed at Auxilium Regunathapuram B.Ed College. Her journey reflects Marialaya’s continued commitment to guiding young women toward education and independence.

At the age of 14, Vasugi arrived at Marialaya from Kakkum Karangal NGO, seeking support and a brighter future. With care, guidance, and determination, she grew into a confident young woman. Today, she serves as a Warden at Auxilium Convent, Madurai, where she mentors and cares for others. Committed to her personal growth, she is currently pursuing her M.Com at Auxilium College, Chithampatti. Her journey is a testament to Marialaya’s mission of empowerment through education and care.

Rescued by Marialaya from a railway station at just five years old, Chottu was given a new chance at life through care, education, and empowerment. With determination and support, she completed her B.C.A. at Auxilium College, Regunathapuram. Today, she works as a Warden at Francis Xavier Convent, Broadway, guiding and nurturing young girls just as she was once guided. Her journey reflects the transformative impact of Marialaya’s mission to protect, educate, and uplift vulnerable children.
