International women's day 2025

The International Women's Day celebration, held at Our Lady Centre Matriculation School ground, was organized with the theme "For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment." The event brought together 100 women group members to honor and celebrate the achievements of women while advocating for their rights and empowerment. The celebration featured an esteemed panel of Chief Guests, including Ms. Muththamizh Kalai Vizhi, Founder and Director of Neelam Foundation; Dr. Mime Gopi, Indian Film Actor and Founder of G Mime Studio; Mrs. MohanaPriya Divakar, Guru at Natiya Kala Prabhanjam School; Mrs. Vimala Albert, Music Teacher at the University of Madras; Mrs. Harini, Advocate at the Madras High Court; and Sr. Dr. Amirthaswami Mariyapushpam, Director and Correspondent of St. Francis Savior Anglo Indian School. Each guest shared empowering stories and life experiences that encouraged the women to embrace their strength and strive for equality. Children from Marialaya also participated in the event, performing cultural programs such as dance, which added vibrancy and joy to the occasion. Women from various communities showcased their talents through dramatic performances, songs, and dances, celebrating womanhood and the power of unity. The event successfully highlighted the importance of rights, equality, and empowerment for women and girls, inspiring the participants to continue advocating for a world where women can thrive and achieve their full potential.
