Life Skills Education

Marialaya organized a life skills education session for children from its Shelter Home, Child Care Institution (CCI) and Open Shelter, led by Mr. Arul Kamaraj, Professor at Loyola College. The session helped children discover their abilities, talents, character and strengths through self-awareness activities and SWOT analysis. Through interactive games, videos and practical exercises, they explored emotional control, critical thinking, decision-making, communication skills and concentration. The resource person encouraged the children to understand themselves, manage their emotions and make wise choices. He reminded them that “Knowing ourselves is wisdom, and handling ourselves is power.” The session inspired the children to recognize their potential and take responsibility for shaping their future.
