Awareness on Drug and Substance abuse

An awareness program was conducted at Thiruvallur Nagar with community members and children. Mrs. Ponni, a dedicated social worker, served as the resource person. She spoke about the severe impact of drug and alcohol abuse on individuals and families, stressing how addiction can ruin lives. A creative puppetry show highlighted the dangers of peer pressure and its role in leading children toward drug use. It also promoted good hygiene and healthy lifestyle habits among children. The program effectively encouraged community support, awareness, and preventive action against drug and substance abuse.
