Career Guidance Training Program

A career guidance program was organized by Mr. N. Kannan and Mrs. A. Christy Merlin, Career Guidance Coordinators from the Centre of Academic Excellence, with active participation from the staff of Marialaya. The program aimed to equip caregivers with essential knowledge and practical tools to support children in making informed career decisions. Key areas covered included identifying children’s interests, strengths, and aptitudes, as well as understanding various academic streams available after 12th grade. The session also provided insights into diverse career opportunities linked to different fields of study. Interactive discussions, real-life examples, and practical strategies enabled participants to enhance their mentoring skills. Overall, the training strengthened the capacity of caregivers to guide children confidently in planning their educational paths and future careers with clarity and purpose.
